What if the team cannot agree?

Approval stays with the manager: Healio does not hand scheduling over to the team; it gives the team a say. If no agreement is reached, the manager settles it, and answers for the fairness and the safety of the unit.

Does artificial intelligence decide instead of the manager?

No. AI proposes adjustments from the rules and the needs you have set. The manager reviews the proposals, makes their own changes, and approves the schedule before it is published.

Can the manager still build the schedule directly?

Healio also works without the collaborative layer; some medical teams prefer it that way. Everyone enters their preferences, and the manager builds the schedule and publishes it.

What if my team is not comfortable with digital tools?

Healio was designed in a hospital, with caregivers and managers. Saying what you would like takes a few minutes on a phone, with no training beforehand. In the first month we introduce Healio to your teams and stay with them through their first steps.

How do caregivers access their schedule?

Through a mobile app, on iOS, Android, or from a browser. Everyone sees their schedule, says what they would like and helps cover the unit’s needs between shifts, without going near a computer.

Where is our data hosted?

Your data is hosted in Switzerland, on secure infrastructure. Protecting it and keeping it confidential is central to how we work.
